The Egyptian Committee continues to support education for children in camps and shelter centers.
As part of its commitment to ensuring the continuation of education for children within camps and shelter centers, the Egyptian Committee is continuing its efforts to establish field educational centers that provide children with the opportunity to learn even in the most difficult circumstances. These centers include tents equipped with basic school supplies, where children sit to follow lessons and educational activities under the supervision of teachers and volunteers.
Despite the simplicity of these centers, the Committee emphasizes that their main goal is to ensure the continuity of the educational process for children, provide them with a safe learning environment, and allow them to continue their basic education despite the significant challenges they face due to their difficult living conditions. The Committee also seeks to provide psychological and social support to the children through simple educational and recreational activities that help them overcome the impact of crises and alleviate psychological stress.
The Committee also strives to continuously develop these centers and improve the educational services they offer within the available resources, to ensure the sustainability of education and enable children to continue learning more effectively. The Committee also calls on civil society and supporting organizations to contribute to strengthening these efforts and providing the necessary educational supplies to reach the largest possible number of children in need.
